We have a child named Bhumika Mukherjee. After visiting SAHAS, Durgapur in 2020, we came to know that our child is autistic. Later on we started understanding and gathering information about Autism. My wife has completed her parent training from SAHAS. Initially, Bhumika was not communicative at all and she had poor eye contact. But the parent training sessions at SAHAS did show us a ray of hope and we started training our child. We are still continuing our efforts. Today my child is 4 years old and has acquired some language skills. She can follow commands. Her development is slow but steady. We are hopeful that with our continued efforts and with guidance from SAHAS our Bhumika will also be able to grow into a beautiful human being one day.
